Washington Storm 2026 — People marching toward the U.S. Capitol as golden light breaks through storm clouds

Washington Storm 2026

We Hurt. We Vote. We're Here.

Chronic pain patients have had enough of government interference in their lives. This June 2nd through the 5th, dozens of patient advocacy groups are storming Washington DC — a national fly-in to meet with all 535 members of Congress in person. Two to four community representatives will be conducting in-person meetings over four days, knocking on every door, telling every story, and demanding change.

Pain Is Not a Crime. The DEA Is Not My Doctor.

Your donation puts advocates on Capitol Hill — covering travel, printed materials, legal filings, and the logistics of putting real patients in front of the people who make the laws. Every dollar goes directly to the fight.

535 Doors. Every Office. Every Voice.

Dozens of patient advocacy groups are flying in from across the country. Two to four community representatives will conduct in-person meetings with all 535 members of Congress over four days — knocking on every door, telling every story, demanding change.

Chronic pain patients have had enough of government interference in their lives.

Under the guise of fighting the opioid crisis, the DEA, Department of Justice, and FBI have created an environment of fear that punishes the very people who are suffering most — children and adults living with intractable, chronic pain. The DEA is not my doctor.

Patients Denied Care

Millions of Americans with legitimate pain conditions are being abandoned by a healthcare system too afraid of federal prosecution to treat them.

Doctors Under Siege

Physicians who prescribe necessary pain medications face DEA raids, loss of licensure, and criminal prosecution — for doing their jobs.

Pharmacists Caught in the Middle

Pharmacists are refusing to fill legitimate prescriptions out of fear of federal scrutiny, leaving patients without access to their medications.

This coalition gets things done — on a shoestring.

Operating on $25,000 to $84,000 a year, this coalition of dozens of advocacy groups has accomplished what many organizations with ten times the budget have not.

Federal Lawsuits Filed

Multiple federal lawsuits challenging enforcement overreach, with 15 more in progress.
